Standardizes on Citrix Application Server Software for Application Hosting Services

Fairfield, CT - April 26, 2000 CONNECTAPPS today announced it has joined the Citrix Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq:CTXS) iBusiness Application Service Provider program and will standardize on Citrix® MetaFrame™ application server software as the enabling platform for its application hosting services. As a member of the Citrix iBusiness Application Service Provider program, CONNECTAPPS will receive joint marketing and sales support, 7x24 technical support, enhanced training, as well as "pay-as-you-go" terms of Citrix’s groundbreaking iLicense program. CONNECTAPPS is also entitled to use the Citrix iBusiness brand.

CONNECTAPPS hosts software solutions for small- to medium-sized businesses, providing predictable IT costs and increased reliability by leveraging the power of Citrix’s proven application server software technology. Consulting services are also performed for other ASP’s and Independent Software Vendors. CONNECTAPPS customers are concentrated in the Northeastern US, but are increasingly expanding across North America. Current markets served include Medical, Accounting, nonprofit, and environmental.. Applications available include industry specific offerings (like Visionarian); accounting systems such as Visual AccountMate and Appgen PowerWindows; and office productivity suites from Microsoft and Sun.
