The Ceryx Difference
Ceryx's
AntiSpam Service is different from other antispam tools or
products because of the fundamental understanding that spam
to one individual is not spam to everyone, and that e-mail
administrators or end users shouldn't need to spend any time
configuring and managing their antispam solution. Other hosted
spam services provide a foundation of stock filters, or worse,
black lists to every user; and in-house administrators and/or
end users must manage additional filters, and more often,
devote their valuable time and resources to fine-tune the
antispam solution.
Ceryx
manages and develops all customizable spam filters that each
company, department or end-user requires.
Ceryx AntiSpam consists
of three parts:
Identification:
AntiSpam uses an advanced heuristic rule based system of thousands
of mail filters (with more and more added each day) for spam
identification. The system breaks the message up into its
various parts and looks for spam signatures in each of the
parts.
Management:
The service is monitored 24x7 by the Network Operations Center
(NOC). The NOC manages spam in a couple of different ways.
First, they are continuously updating and creating new spam
filters to prevent spam reaching the user. Secondly, the NOC
reacts to reports of new spam messages that reach users as
well as reports of false positives. The NOC monitors all aspects
of AntiSpam and will take the immediate corrective action
required in order to keep spam out of user's mailboxes. In
the Enhanced AntiSpam Service, the Ceryx NOC manages
the customer quarantine area and verifies there are no false
positives. In the Standard version of AntiSpam, the customer
administrator only needs to verify false positives.
Delivery:
With the Enhanced AntiSpam Service, only legitimate e-mail
is delivered to customer inboxes. With the Standard version
of AntiSpam, legitimate e-mail is delivered to customer inboxes
and identified spam messages are forwarded to a customer defined
Spam folder.
Spam
is more than a nuisance: It's a threat to the bottom line.
Stop spam from wasting your valuable employee time, IT resources,
bandwidth, and money.
